Emily Mortimer

  Emily Kathleen Anne Mortimer, born 6 October 1971, is an English-American actress. She started her acting career with stage productions. Since since then, she has appeared involved in a variety of television and film roles. For her performance on Lovely and Amazing, she was awarded an Independent Spirit Award. Mackenzie McHale, which she was a part of HBO's The Newsroom (2013-2015), is another noteworthy role. She was the writer and director of The Pursuit of Love (2021) as well as Doll & Em (2014).



 



 She voiced the character in the role of Sophie in the English-language version of Howl's Moving Castle (2004).
