Kyra Minturn Sedgwick, a well-known American TV and large-screen actor. Her name is known all over the world and especially in America because of her leading role in the TV series 'The Closer'. Sedgwick has always had an interest in the arts, Broadway and performing since at the age of 12. Her introduction to Broadway by her mom who was an avid Broadway enthusiast. Sedgwick was offered her first professional role when she was 16 years old in the television series "Another world".
